If you’re in the market for a speed reading software program, you probably already know there are dozens of programs available. Thankfully, you are doing your research and hopefully finding the software that is best for you and your family.
A few of the qualifications that I am sure you are looking for is computer compatibility, ease of use, full video training, and the ability to have multiple users use the program at the same time, among many others. The creators of 7 Speed Reading put together a list of must haves before creating their program. They included all of the items above but they also wanted the software to have many others. Aspects such has multiple learning strategies, different progress tracking systems, a large array of eBooks, and the ability to use online content such as Wikipedia are also included in this software.
If you click on the video below, you will see a video by Top Ten Reviews that discusses all of the benefits of 7 Speed Reading. In 2013, they gave the software their Gold Award and their Excellence Award!
So anyways, with that being said, here’s my 7 Speed Reading Review!
7 Speed Reading Review – What Is It?
7 Speed Reading is a top rated, fully integrated software that TopTenReviews calls the best speed reading software for 2013. It includes of 7 learning strategies, 5 skill tracking systems, and 15 software activities.
What makes 7 Speed Reading stand out is that it offers many ways to learn speed reading. A few of the strategies include:
- Sub vocalization Elimination
- Eye Muscle Fitness
- Optic-Nerve Maximization
- Memory Training
Another important factor in choosing a speed reading software is the material it comes with for you to train on. 7 Speed Reading comes with Wiki-connect which gives you the ability to train with any wiki product available. It also comes with over 600 EBooks for you to use as well.
With all the features 7 Speed Reading offers in my opinion the best is that it has a 365 day return policy. They fully believe that their speed reading training software will double your reading speed or they would not have offered such an amazing guarantee.
7 Speed Reading Review – What I Liked
There are many features about 7 Speed Reading that I like, but the one that I think is most important is the ability to have multiple user work with the software. My family is using it all at the same time. All of us are at different reading levels so we all have individual logins so that we can train at our level.
An additional feature that I like is the web based layout. It has an easy to follow, step-by-step design that is clean and without clutter. You will start with a few introduction videos that describe everything you are about to do and then move on to the training. It is very easy to use.
Some other parts I liked were the free software updates, 24 hour email support, and the progress charts / graphs. You can even get a CD copy if you want to give it as a gift or you don’t have internet access.
7 Speed Reading Review –What I Didn’t Like
The one thing you will notice when you start the installation of 7 Speed Reading is that it takes a while to download. I am an impatient person so it was hard for me to sit and watch the progress. It’s a large program but once you get it installed, it is easy to sign in and get started.
Another item I wish the program had would be internet compatibility. It would be nice to be able to sign in anywhere and practice your speed reading. What I did was install it on my laptop which gave me the ability to use it anywhere. So it was not a deal breaker for me.
7 Speed Reading Review – Overall Thoughts
After spending a few hours with the 7 Speed Reading Software, I can truly say it has worked for me. It has all the features I was looking for plus many others that, to be honest, I didn’t even think about.
If you are interested in improving your speed reading like I did or maybe you are wondering if speed reading can help you with your school work or your job then I think you should give 7 Speed Reading a try.
